If you are a developer or designer who is creating cutting edge user interface experiences using Microsoft Expression Blend you've just found a great resource!  The purpose of this site is to share our experience with this brand new product.  As with any new piece of software there is a ton to discover.  Bugs will be revealed and workarounds discovered, hopefully this can be a resource to share in the discovery process!

While this site will focus largely on Expression Blend, it will also encompass WPF, Visual Studio, Silverlight, and other .net 3.5 technologies as they relate to the creation of great software.

I am certain that as I move forward with my development using expression blend I will discover useful information and also need some help. The purpose of my blog is to catalog and share what I discover and also to learn from visitors as I hit any roadblocks.

Using Handbrake to encode videos for the Optoma PK301 PICO projector

WPF RibbonControl RibbonComboBox Failure

The October 2010 RibbonComboBox control seems to work great, until you try to do some actual work with it. This post and the attached code clearly illustrates a problem that appears to be an eventing race condition that Microsoft did not identify correctly before releasing.
